Latino students are now the largest minority group in American schools, and Latino school district leaders, administrators, and educators are the fastest growing segment of the professional educational workforce population in the United States and its territories. It is estimated that well over 50,000 to 75,000 Christian educators and administrator are working in public school systems, it is also estimated that an additional 5,000 to 10,000 are working in private and charter schools.  It is a fact that in America 90% of Christian families children attend public schools. As the Latino population in this country continues to grow, school districts, private and charter schools throughout the nation are being impacted by the browning of America.  Regardless, of the geographical location, schools are now dealing with addressing the needs of a changing population that may have a different culture, language, and learning style.

 

Potentially members of LAACE can join forces with thousands of their brothers and sisters in Christ from across the country; with the mission to provide leadership and a Godly witness at their schools. As God fearing and faith centered educators we are committed to assure that  every school in America effectively serves the educational needs of all students.  Our purpose is to  fulfill  our calling and our God ordain destiny in serving Latino students, by building capacity, promoting best practices, and being agents of  transformation.
